Global hyper-casual game developer Supercent was awarded the $70 Million Export Tower at the 61st Trade Day Ceremony held today.
Since its establishment in March 2021, Supercent has achieved rapid growth, following its $7 Million Export Tower award in 2023 with this year’s impressive $70 Million Export Tower award in 2024.
A Supercent representative explained, "This Export Tower award is based on sales performance from July 2023 to June 2024. Notably, our revenue growth is accelerating even further in the second half of 2024." They added, "With 97% of total revenue generated overseas, this award highlights Supercent’s strong competitiveness in the global market.”
Supercent has gained worldwide popularity in the hyper-casual gaming market with standout titles such as Burger Please!, Pizza Ready!, and Outlets Rush.
Notably, Pizza Ready! ranked as the No. 1 globally downloaded mobile game app in May 2024, according to mobile app analytics firm AppMagic, and has surpassed 150 million cumulative downloads to date.
Burger Please!, released in 2023, also garnered significant attention by ranking first in global downloads among mobile games released that year.
Building on its success in the hyper-casual genre, Supercent is now making a full-scale entry into the hybrid casual market.
Supercent aims to combine the simplicity and quick development cycle characteristic of hyper-casual games with the in-depth content and monetization models demanded by hybrid casual games.
Through this strategy, the company is expanding its game lineup across various genres, further strengthening its competitiveness in the global gaming market.
CEO Gong Jun-sik expressed his delight at receiving the $70 Million Export Tower, saying, “It’s especially meaningful to have achieved significant results in the global market with the hyper-casual genre, which is still relatively unfamiliar in South Korea.”
